As the heart of the bag dust removal equipment, the dust removal bag significantly impacts its overall performance. Therefore, regular inspections are necessary. Maintenance of the dust collector bag revolves around monitoring its working condition, which can be determined by observing the readings and changes in the differential pressure gauge. For large bag dust removal equipment, it is crucial to record the daily resistance value to analyze the bag's status and take appropriate actions promptly.

 

The main reason for the short service life of dust filtration bags is usually clogging. When the filter bag or cartridge becomes blocked, the resistance of the filter bag increases as indicated by the differential pressure gauge. Clogging is the primary cause of wear, perforation, and detachment of the filter bag. Temporary strengthening of cleaning procedures or partial or complete replacement of the filter bag can alleviate clogging issues. Adjusting installation or operation conditions may also be necessary.

 

Damaged filter bags or dust cartridge filters can also lead to reduced service life. The bag's shape, installation method, and structural integrity are factors that contribute to bag damage. It is important to inspect and repair them accordingly. Additionally, bag aging can occur due to factors such as excessive temperature, exposure to acid or alkali solvents, moisture reactions, or reaching the end of the filter bag's service life.

 

Proper installation of the filter bag is also crucial, as improper installation can result in several undesirable outcomes, such as smoke emissions from the exhaust tube, reduced dust collector resistance, filter bag damage, dust leakage at the installation site, bag detachment, compromised suction hood functionality, and reduced efficiency of dust removal. Understanding the differences between dust removal methods and cloth bag installation techniques is essential to ensure the filter bag maintains the appropriate slackness required for optimal dust removal effectiveness, ultimately extending the service life of the bag dust removal equipment.

 

The electromagnetic pulse valve is a key component of pulse bag filters for dust removal, directly impacting the dust removal efficiency and continuous operation capability of the system. The pulse valve is installed at the outlet of the dust collector's gas distribution box.

When the filter bag does not require cleaning, the electromagnetic pulse valve remains closed, sealing the compressed gas inside the distribution box. When it's time for filter bag cleaning, the dust removal control system sends an electric pulse signal, causing the pulse valve to open instantly. Compressed gas is then released from the distribution box and directed into the filter bag's opening through the blowing pipe nozzle. The high-speed airflow from the nozzle mixes with the induced secondary airflow.

This high-pressure air mass moves within the filter bag from the bag mouth to the bottom, vigorously impacting the filter bag's side walls and causing it to expand outwardly. The dust layer deposited on the bag's surface is disrupted and falls off, restoring the dust filtering function.

Therefore, the proper functioning of the electromagnetic pulse valve significantly contributes to the long-term operation of the pulse bag filter.
