Installation Method of Intermediate Frequency Furnace Dust Collector
The intermediate frequency furnace is a crucial equipment in the smelting industry, generating a significant amount of smoke during the smelting, charging, and water discharge processes. The smoke produced during smelting is particularly severe, leading to the release of smoke and dust into the atmosphere, thereby polluting the environment and posing risks to human health. To address this issue, the intermediate frequency furnace dust collector is designed, incorporating features such as a bevel gear rotating hood for charging equipment and a low-position mobile dust collecting hood. This dust removal equipment effectively captures the flue gas generated throughout the smelting process of the intermediate frequency furnace.
Here are the recommended steps for installing the dust collector for an intermediate frequency furnace:
Lift the dust collector carefully to prevent deformation. Key parts of the equipment are equipped with lifting ears specifically designed for lifting purposes, so please ensure to use them during the lifting process.
After installing the main components such as the box body, bag room, air inlet and outlet, and ash hopper, ensure that all joints are airtight. For welded and sealed connections, ensure a solid weld, while for connections made with fasteners, use gaskets and securely tighten all fasteners. In case of local air leakage, use silica gel or epoxy resin to seal the gaps. The seal of the dust collector is crucial for its normal operation and longevity. For an air box pulse bag filter, the air leakage rate should be kept below 3%.
During the assembly of the air duct section, the main air pipe should be completed separately at the factory. On-site assembly should focus on control air pipes (such as lift valve cylinders), bone assembly, casings, etc. Ensure that all pipelines are thoroughly cleaned, free from any impurities. Fill all joints with appropriate sealing material to prevent leakage due to pressure.
The installation of bags and filter bags is a meticulous task that requires caution. Handle the jet dust collector bags with care during the installation process, ensuring they do not come into contact with sharp or hard objects. Even small damages can significantly shorten the lifespan of the dust filter bag. To install the filter bag, insert it from the flower plate hole of the shell into the bag room. Then, fasten the coil on the upper part of the bag mouth to the concave shape and place it into the flower plate hole of the chassis, aligning the coil with the circumference of the flower plate hole. Gently insert the bag until the upper cover of the bag car is pressed into the flower plate hole in the shell.
By following these installation steps, the dust collector for the intermediate frequency furnace can be installed effectively, ensuring efficient and reliable dust removal.
