Precautions for Using Galvanized Filter Cage
The proper use of a galvanized filter cage is essential for its effective performance and prolonged operation. To ensure smooth operation and avoid potential issues, certain precautions should be taken into account. Here are some guidelines to follow:
Initial Setup: During the start-up phase, carefully observe the machine and pay attention to any abnormalities such as excessive vibration, reduced suction efficiency, or poor control. Check the ancillary equipment, including piping and dust hood, for proper functioning.
Cleaning Procedure: When cleaning the galvanized filter cage, begin by opening the top cover of the bag chamber. Remove each cage frame and filter bag individually, and clean off the accumulated dust. Although this method is time-consuming and labor-intensive, it ensures thorough cleaning.
Safety Measures: If accessing the ash hopper is necessary, ensure that a suitable opening is provided for workers to enter. It is important to wear a dust mask when working inside the ash hopper to protect against airborne particles.
Timely Dust Removal: Address the issue of dust accumulation at the bottom of the filter bag promptly. Regularly remove the accumulated dust to prevent damage to the galvanized filter cage and maintain its optimal performance and value in dust removal.
Inner Diameter of the Ring: The inner diameter of the ring should be carefully chosen to block the thin round steel of the filter cage frame and prevent it from passing through. Consider replacing the disc at the bottom of the galvanized filter cage with a ring-shaped design, allowing dust to fall to the bottom of the jet filter bag. Seal the bottom of the sleeve with a piece of cylindrical cloth securely tied with a rope. This configuration enables easy removal of ash from the filter sleeve by periodically unfastening the rope.
By adhering to these precautions and guidelines, the galvanized filter cage can be used effectively and contribute to efficient dust removal. Additionally, our company offers a wide range of dust removal equipment, exhaust gas treatment equipment, and dust removal accessories, including bag filters, standalone dust collectors, electrostatic dust collectors, and more.
