Utilizing High Temperature Fiberglass Filter Bags
High temperature fiberglass filter bags are designed with specially woven and surface-treated glass fiber filter cloth, making them an ideal filtration material for applications involving high temperature, medium temperature, low temperature, and high humidity.
These filter bags are commonly employed as the final equipment in the acid purification process of copper smelting flue gas. Operating under high temperatures ranging from 200 to 300°C, they effectively filter corrosive acidic flue gases, ensuring smooth operations in sulfuric acid production.
Woven from alkali-free glass fiber 80N 8.2 yarn and treated with a graphite-teflon solution, the fabric structure of the high temperature fiberglass filter bag consists of a 5/2 weft satin weft double tube organization. The following are the usage conditions and technical requirements for these filter bags:
Usage Conditions:
Temperature Range: 200-300°C
Filtration Speed: Less than 1 m/min
Operating Pressure Difference: 400-600mm water column
Back Blow Air Pressure: 4-6 kg
Smoke Composition:
Dust Particle Size: Below 5 microns
Dust Concentration: 100-500 mg/m3
SO2 Content: 3-5%
NOx Content: 0.1-0.5%
Single Sulfur Content: 1000 mg/m3
Fluorine Content: 0.4-60 mg/m3
Technical Requirements:
Service Life: More than three months
Filtration Efficiency: >95% (with an inlet dust concentration of 10 mg/m3 or less, the outlet dust content is less than 5 mg/m3)
High temperature fiberglass filter bags are widely utilized in various industries for valuable dust purification, environmental recycling, and industrial dust removal purposes. They are a reliable and conventional choice for effective filtration in demanding applications.
